Sandra Curbelo | Vice President

Sandra Curbelo has been a resident of the Kendall area since 1990 making a life for herself and her family. Sandra played an active role within her community by working alongside several community groups on behalf of the area and throughout the County and currently serves on the Miami Dade County Cultural Affairs Council, serving the Board to the Department of Cultural Affairs.

Sandra earned a degree in Business at the Taylor Business Institute in New Jersey before relocating to Florida. Upon her arrival, Sandra began her professional career in the corporate arena working for several American and international firms specializing in insurance.  She successfully implemented and executed the negotiation of new products that were introduced to the marketplace in the field of insurance.

Sandra is married to Robert Curbelo, Jr. and is a mother to two wonderful children. Robert, her son, excels academically and athletically at a prestigious school in the area and her daughter, Alexandra is a dedicated dancer who juggles her time between dance and academics. Sandra’s hard work and dedication can be witnessed through her passion for the arts. She has involved herself at her daughter’s school in order to support her daughter’s endeavors but also to foster not only in her own child but in others a passion for the arts especially in the area of dance.
